Knightcote Village Hall

Built in the 1990s after many fundraising events Knightcote Village Hall is a registered charity with a small Committee the members of which act as Trustees, as well as undertaking the cleaning and maintenance of the Hall.

The Hall is modern, light and airy and large enough to accommodate 75 people for seated events or up to  100 people for less formal occasions.

Chairs, tables, crockery and cutlery can be provided for this number and and the Hall has a small but functional kitchen. This has an electric cooker, microwaves, hot water boiler and two heated trolleys for keeping food warm.

A shuttered servery hatch allows food to be served from the kitchen directly into the Hall or for the kitchen to be closed off from the main Hall when required.

The Hall is well lit and has both storage heaters and built-in electric fan heaters, which ensures the Hall is warm and inviting even in cold weather. As the Hall and its entrance are on one level it offers good access for people with disabilities and has appropriate toilet facilities for wheelchair users.

Hire rates (for 2011/12) are just £10 per hour for the use of the Hall and equipment provided, for functions and events. Regular users of the Hall (i.e. those who book for a series of events or make repeat bookings on a regular basis) receive a 40% discount making the charge only £6 per hour.
