Within the Parish, church services are held at All Saints Church Burton Dassett and at Northend Chapel of Ease, with occasional Joint Communion services being held at Knightcote Methodist Church. There are also services at Fenny Compton, Gaydon and Farnborough, which are in neighbouring parishes within the Dassett Magna Group. To visit the Dassett Magna Group website click here .
Both of the parish’s churches are open to the public every day of the year.
All Saints Burton Dassett, built in the 12th Century, is one of the finest examples of a Norman church and is known locally as the Cathedral on the Hills. It is a Grade 1 Listed Building which has in recent times undergone a project to preserve and restore some of it’s medieval wall paintings. It is a beautiful place of both historical and architectural interest.
The Chapel of Ease in Northend was built in 1853 from local stone and is next to the vicarage and adjacent to the village green.
