Hymer Nova. With its silver colour sides, the Nova creates a striking impression and the stunning, lavish interior embodies a wealth of innovative ideas.

This is a 2.3m wide caravan with sleek, curve-fronted interior storage to maximise the feeling of space. It has high quality upholstery, a superior double bed and an en-suite washroom.

The real attraction of a Hymer, though, is legendary build quality which means it will have a very long life. This is reflected in the price, of course, so this is a caravan for those people who don’t change their caravan very often.

The build-quality reflects in the weight, too, so you’ll need a fairly substantial tow car.

Lunar is renowned for building caravans that are lighter than many competitive options, but without any reduction in their specification, strength or durability.

The Ariva and Stellar are Lunar’s entry-level caravans, each offering two berths and with specification levels modelled on more expensive caravans.

The Ariva has the same specification and style as the Quasar, except that it is 14cm narrower. With an MTPLM of under 1000kg it is easy to handle and, in recent years, has won several awards.

The Stellar has the same styling and specification as the Lexon except that it is shorter, with its own unique layout, and has a slightly smaller fridge.

Lunar Quasar. With layouts for two to six people, there’s something for everyone in the Quasar range.

Given their size and equipment level, these medium-priced caravans are light in weight and can be towed by most cars. Additionally, they embody several features normally associated with premium model ranges - such as a 112 litre electronic fridge, microwave oven, radio/CD player, swivel toilet and an AKS Stabiliser.

The Quasar range includes both single and twin axle models.

For 2010 the Quasar has been given stylish new graphics, new ceiling and wall board and an attractive new soft furnishing scheme.

Lunar Clubman. This ultimate luxury range has been redesigned for 2010, now offering opulent soft furnishings and a soft and elegant colour scheme throughout. Externally, there are sharp new graphics, stylish new light clusters and high-level brake lights.

These single-axle caravans provide a massive 1.96m (6’5”) of internal headroom and the 2010 specification includes Alde central heating,  a Phantom tracker system (with a year’s subscription), heated towel rail, and cool-touch L.E.D. lights. There’s an Al-Ko stabiliser, alloy wheels, and more.

In the kitchen, there’s a microwave oven, four burner hob (3 gas/1 electric), separate grill and oven, 112 litre fridge, glass-lidded sink/drainer, extractor fan and more.

Lunar Lexon. The Lexon range of single and twin axle caravans offers elegance and high specification combined with relaxed styling, light weight and all the space you’ll need.

There are Lexon models designated as ‘4 berth’ and ‘6 berth’ and they really are excellent family caravans. Additionally, though, the fixed double bed arrangement featured in three of them will appeal to couples wanting lots of space and the versatility to cope with overnight stays from grandchildren or other family members.

Inside, Lexons have elegant ‘Chestnut’ finish cabinetry, new upholstery, stone-effect worktops and beautiful new wall coverings. The kitchen has a 3-burner hob, oven, grill, microwave, fridge and glass-lidded sink/drainer.

Lunar Delta. Like the Clubman, both models in the ‘ultimate luxury’ twin axle Delta range have been redesigned inside and out for 2010. Specification is similar to the Clubman but the Delta is longer and has a huge 180 litre fridge freezer.

Inside, the Delta has opulent soft furnishings with luxury fabrics and textures. This is complimented by a new ‘Chestnut’ finish to the cabinetry, with colour-matched worktops and kitchen appliances in warm bronze finish.
