T@b. These teardrop-shaped mini-caravans combine chic retro design with Tardis-like interior. They are light, easy to tow and come in a choice of models, all with thick insulation and six year water ingress guarantee. Being made to order, the interior upholstery and exterior body kit are customisable.
The 320 RS is the baby of the range, yet its double bed is only just short of ‘king size’.
The Offroad is the same length as the 320RS, but has extra-width, more robust edgings,bumper extensions, alloy wheels, back-mounted luggage rods and more.
The 400L is longer, wider and higher. It has an onboard washroom/toilet and the fridge is standard equipment.

Teardrop. These micro-caravans are little more than beds on wheels so, if you want a daytime sitting area you’ll have to provide it with the clip-on gazebo that comes as an optional extra.
That said, they are well-built, comfortable to sleep in and there’s a cooking area that you access from outside.
There’s space for a small television that you can watch whilst in bed, but no toilet or washing facilities.
The Little Guy 4 and Little Guy 5 are identical except for the width. Like the Cargo, which comes with a removable kitchen unit to facilitate cargo carrying, they are American imports. The Turtle is the Company’s own design, has several refinements and is made in Turkey.

Trigano Silver. Elevating roof caravans like these are an option that gives generous interior headroom combined with a low profile whilst being towed and in storage. This makes for marginally easier and more economical towing and, more to the point, enables the caravan to be stored under a low car port, etc.
The Silver range is well-made, light in weight, has a good specification level and is reasonably-priced. Layouts include an ‘end double bed’ configuration and an interesting ‘corner seating’ arrangement.
Silver Range caravans are available with between two and four berths and are a popular choice with couples. With widths of only 1.8m and 2m, they are not the most roomy caravans. Compare them with the Eriba range.

Vanmaster. These high-quality, hand-built caravans are truly luxurious, with real ash wood interiors and the highest standards of insulation. 2010 sees the introduction of a ‘Lifetime’ water ingress warranty.
The Accolade range of two-berth, single-axle caravans is available in three lengths. There are models with side or end kitchen and one model with a very spacious full width end washroom. The end panels and roof are in easy-repair GRP.
Standard features include a pressurised water system with onboard tank, Al-Ko AKS 3004 stabiliser, alloy wheels, an exterior gas barbecue point, 24 hour programmable central heating, hob and sink covers and 115 litre fridge (upgradeable to 150 litre fridge freezer).
